How did Wojciech Zaremba deploy reinforcement learning across 254 physical parameters and teach a robotic hand to solve a Rubik's cube? Not the headline, the mechanism. What has to be true for a system that complicated to hold together at all? How does a thing that exists only as an idea end up in someone's hands, working, on a Tuesday, without anyone watching it?
Those questions stopped being a hobby somewhere around the third night I forgot to sleep. It felt less like learning a subject and more like walking into a room I had to understand completely before I could leave it, as though I had skipped every other floor of Maslow and gone straight to the top.
That obsession has taken me through software, through robotics, through building products people actually use, and eventually through founding DormData. Every one of those turns taught the same lesson from a different angle: the distance between a good idea and a working thing is almost never talent. It is whether anybody is willing to stay with the problem after it stops being interesting.
So that is what I built the company around. Not an agency, not a set of services, but a group of people who take the whole problem and do not leave when it gets ugly. I still read the work before it goes out. I still answer the messages that come in. I would still rather be wrong quickly than comfortable slowly.
Still learning. Still building. Still asking bigger questions.
